Job Description
Designs, develops, validates, and debugs software to enable Intel hardware features and to optimize for cloud, hybrid cloud, and/or onprem deployment models.Understands partner software stacks and optimizes full stack software (spanning firmware, drivers, OS, middleware, SDKs, frameworks, algorithms, and applications) as required to enable cloud software.May include the development of reference cloud platform software and improving or enabling customer designs to obtain the greatest value from Intel products within the cloud.May specialize in specific technology domains including data services (ingestion, database, analytics), AI/ML, and opensource development projects.
Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your degree, research and or relevant previous job and or internship experiences.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree & 1+ years in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or technical Stem-related field.

1+ years experience in datacenter storage hardware, protocols, software implementations, control plane/orchestration, and data plane.1+ years experience in implementing and supporting one or more SDS solutions (e.g., Weka.IO, VAST, Ceph, MinIO).1+ years experience with Kubernetes, especially its storage interface (CSI).

Preferred Qualifications:

Understanding of engineering and implementing Software-Defined Storage solutions for private or public clouds, enterprises, or telco industries.Familiarity with public cloud storage offerings such as EBS, EFS, and S3.Experience in designing and building storage solutions for AI/ML, HPC, and other I/O intensive workloads at multi-petabyte scale.Understanding of datacenter designs and processes, networking hardware (e.g., Arista, Cisco), protocols, and interconnects.Experience in datacenter storage management, automation, and monitoring.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US $126,420.00-$178,480.00
*Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience


Working Model
This role is available as a fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need.
