Responsibilities


As a Cloud Solution Architect, you will play a key role in designing, building, and deploying applications, software, and services in the cloud, using Generative AI to do so, and ensuring seamless deployment and optimal performance. You will work directly with customers to understand their business challenges and assist in implementing robust data, AI/ML, or application solutions across mission needs. This role involves engaging in deep architectural discussions and design exercises to create cutting-edge cloud solutions tailored to customer needs. You will also author customer-facing content such as whitepapers, workshops, demos, and proof of concepts, while building strong relationships with senior technical stakeholders to ensure customer success. Additionally, you will capture and share best practices within the solutions architect community, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation. 

 
Highlights of Responsibilities:

Ensure success in designing, building and migrating applications, software, and services. Interact with stakeholders directly to understand the business problem and aid them in implementation of their ML ecosystem Participate in deep architectural discussions and design exercises to create world-class solutions while ensuring solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud. Author and contribute to customer-facing publications such as whitepapers, workshops, demos and proof of concepts.  Develop strong relationships with senior technical stakeholders within customer organizations, empowering them to become cloud advocates.  Capture and share knowledge of cloud best practices with the solutions architect community to foster innovation and continuous improvement. 

 

 

 

 

Qualifications

Requirements:

Bachelors Degree or equivalent related experienceIII: 4-9 years

 

Specifics: 

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture, application migration, or software design, preferably within government or regulated environments. In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and cloud-native services. Experience with containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation). Strong understanding of machine learning and AI ecosystems and experience in designing ML/AI solutions. Proven ability to lead architectural discussions and implement secure cloud solutions in line with government compliance standards. Excellent communication and interpersonal skill 
 

Preferred Qualifications:

 Experience deploying and optimizing generative AI workloads in production.  Large models pretrain/fine-tuning experience, familiar with distributed training  Pre-sales engineering, technical business development, strategic partnerships, or program/product management experience  Demonstrated ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations is key in a matrix environment. Cloud certification (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect). Knowledge of security and compliance requirements for cloud solutions in government settings (e.g., FedRAMP, NIST).
