Responsibilities:

MTSI Multi-Level Security digital team is seeking a Multi-Level Security Cloud Solutions Architect to be responsible for the design, implementation, and management of strategic secure cloud (on-prem/hybrid/native) infrastructure environments. Approximately 90% of time will be supporting capability development and acquisition support of Sentinel Program for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) under the Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center. This position will be a lead role that interfaces directly with the Government Lead Technology Officer providing recommendations and implementations of Multi-Level Security Cloud deployments in support of the mission.  The additional 10% of time will be supporting and leading internal company specific strategic initiatives helping to establish MTSI as a leader in MLS Cloud support and services.

Travel within CONUS may be required up to 50%.

Duties:

Responsible for technical evaluation of cloud strategy and program architecture.Identifies and evaluates industry trends (customer industry verticals, information technology [IT] industry), gathers customer/partner insights (e.g., feedback around technical preferences, environments, business needs, competitive landscape), and maps architecture and digital transformation solutions to customer/partner business outcomes.Acts as the voice of the customer (VOC)/partner by driving new feedback, insights, and resources across territories to add and prioritize. Represents the customer/partner to internal teams (e.g., Engineering) to shape products and services by providing insights across the territory. Leverages feedback to develop strategic and actionable insights and presents business cases to program managers to influence product roadmaps and decision making. Shares customer/partner success stories with the wider internal team.Remain current with new emerging industry cloud technologies and their potential utilization within hybrid cloud environments.Evaluate emergent cloud technologies and advise transition roadmaps for current systems and their capabilities.Advise and consult on cloud migration and acquisition strategies.Analyze strengths and deficiencies on various system cloud migration strategies to deliver the recommendations that are cost effective and efficient.Identify deployment and integration issues with current technology and solving critical vulnerabilities.Collaborate with current and future cloud service providers to identify and implement optimal solutions in cloud environments.Ensure future cloud architecture is sufficiently designed to achieve platform technology roadmap.

Qualifications:

Position Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Cloud Architect.Experience with Azure, AWS, or Google cloud offerings in DoD space.Experience with Confluence and JIRA Atlassian commercial tools.Experience with enterprise storage, network, and computing platforms (implementation, monitoring, and design).Must have thorough knowledge on all operating systems and platforms (Various Applications, Middleware, Network, Windows/Unix servers, Virtualization, Containers, Cloud Services, Database, etc).One or more Cloud Certifications (Cloud Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified, Cisco CertifiedNetworking Administrator – Cloud, Cisco Certified Network Professional – Cloud, IBM Certified Cloud Solution Architect, MCSE Cloud Platform and Infrastructure, VMware Certified Professional).

Education Requirements:  

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.

Clearance Requirements:

Active security clearance (e.g., Secret, Top Secret) required

Travel Requirements:  

Must be able to travel monthly.
