What You Will Do:
We are looking for a Cloud Support Specialist local to the National Capital Region, who can engage our client to support the network deployment, and operational sustainment that contribute to Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) and Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) mission adoption.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for architecting, deploying, and managing cloud-based solutions to support the development, deployment and sustainment of the Department of State’s ICAM and ZTA capabilities. The Cloud Specialist should have specific experience in supporting Okta and Entra in similar environments.
Responsibilities:
Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure components across multiple cloud platforms.Develop and maintain software deployment, testing, and monitoring in cloud environments.Implement DT and Department of State security measures to protect cloud resources, including network security, identity and access management, encryption, and compliance.Monitor cloud infrastructure for performance, availability, and cost optimization and implement proactive measures to address issues and improve efficiency.Provide technical guidance and support to internal groups.What You Will Need:
US Citizenship and ability to obtain a federal clearanceBachelor's degree is requiredMinimum Five (5) years of experience with using and supporting a broad range of cloud technologies (e.g. EC2, ECR, ECS, EKS, Lambda, RDS, ELB, EFS, EBD, S3, VPC, SNS, SQS, SES, CloudWatch, Route 53) to develop and maintain a suite of client ICAM and XTA solutions with an emphasis on best practice cloud security.Integration experience and knowledge of both Microsoft Entra and Okta functionality, provisioning, and interface requirements.What Would Be Nice To Have:
Active Secret ClearanceExperience designing, deploying, and managing cloud-based solutions in AWS, Azure, and Office 365.Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS, as well as cloud service models and deployment models.Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash a plusFamiliarity with cloud security best practices, compliance standards, and industry regulations.The annual salary range for this position is $125,600.00-$188,400.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
