Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Cloud System Administrator to join our team in Holland, Michigan. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our cloud-based systems, utilizing a variety of tools such as Amazon CloudWatch, Amazon EC2, Ansible, Atlassian Jira, Auto Scaling, and API Development. Your work will be essential in maintaining the efficiency and security of our cloud infrastructure. Responsibilities: • Manage and monitor cloud resources using Amazon CloudWatch • Provision and manage virtual servers in the cloud with Amazon EC2 • Automate tasks and processes using Ansible • Track and manage issues and tasks using Atlassian Jira • Automate scaling of resources using Auto Scaling • Develop APIs to integrate different systems and services • Implement automation strategies to improve efficiency • Use AWS Technologies for managing and deploying services • Manage backup strategies and implement backup technologies • Perform cluster analysis to ensure optimal resource utilization. Requirements • Proficient in Amazon CloudWatch, with the ability to monitor applications and services in real time • Skilled in using Amazon EC2 for secure, resizable compute capacity in the cloud • Knowledgeable in Ansible for IT automation, including configuration management, application deployment, and task automation • Experience with Atlassian Jira for tracking issues and managing projects • Understanding of Auto Scaling to maintain application availability and manage costs • Strong background in API Development, with the ability to design, build, and manage APIs • Expertise in Automation, with the capacity to automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency and accuracy • Familiarity with AWS Technologies, including the ability to design and deploy scalable, highly available systems on AWS • Proficient in Backup Technologies, with the ability to implement backup strategies and ensure data recovery • Experience in Cluster Analysis, with the ability to perform and interpret cluster analysis on large data sets.
