Job Description

We are seeking highly motivated engineers with a thirst for learning, in support of a state of the art solution constructing a Multi-Cloud Ecosystem via a centralized Cloud Management Interface (CMI). The CMI is a controlled access entry to all Cloud Service Provider (Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform, IBM Cloud, Microsoft Azure, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure) cloud services and business tools. This role will support the design, engineering, integration and operations & maintenance of the CMI. You will work closely with Government and contractor staff to design, integrate and operate services of the CMI. Solutions will include improvements to the hybrid cloud environment and CMI supporting the integration of new cloud services, centralizing cloud functions to the CMI, and streamlining and centralizing cloud business functions. Team members will be responsible for supporting their solutions throughout the IT project lifecycle, to include refining requirements, creating design documentation, creating installation instructions and deployment plans, and providing O&M support. Project assignments will vary based on skill level, and may include engineering geographically dispersed services, integrating services into public, private and hybrid cloud environments, engineering solutions to be deployed via automated CM tools, and hardening the solutions to address security and SCAP compliance.

Responsibilities:

Perform and/or oversee systems analysis of highly complex Cloud systemsDesign, develop, test, and deploy scalable and efficient solutions for cloud-based systemsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirementsProvide guidance and direction to junior and mid-level staffDevelop or assist with the creation of technical documentation to include, but not limited to, detailed installation processes, standard operating procedures, and knowledge base articlesMay provide personnel supervisionStay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to improve the Cloud Management Interface solution

Experience managing/leading a team of IT professionalsExperience leading and managing a complex technical integration projectUnderstanding or proficiency with Cloud environments such as: Amazon, Google, IBM, Microsoft, OracleExperience with managing work tasks via tools such as JIRA and ServiceNowKnowledge of Cloud Security concepts such as Identity and Access Management, Data Encryption, Threat Detection, and Mitigation practices is helpfulKnowledge of Networking concepts is helpfulSystem configuration based on security guidelines such as DISA STIGsCompTIA Security+ or similar for IAT Level II DoD 8570 certification
