The Opportunity:
Join our dynamic Infrastructure team and be part of an exciting environment where you'll work on diverse tasks supporting customer requirements and development team needs. We operate across multiple hosting platforms (OpenStack, AWS, and VMWare), focusing exclusively on Linux VMs. This role offers a unique opportunity to deepen your knowledge of our product while exploring various aspects of VM Management and DevOps.
Responsibilities:
Perform essential system administration tasks, including server certificate management, VM health monitoring, software updates, and ensuring compliance with enterprise security requirements
Monitor and manage production Linux VMs across multiple hosting platforms, including standalone VMs and those integrated into Kubernetes clusters
Collaborate with customers and the development team to support product needs, ranging from minor changes to significant infrastructure builds
Execute DevOps tasks, including maintaining Ansible playbooks and monitoring Kubernetes clusters using Rancher or kubectl to ensure optimal performance
Qualifications:
Required:
An active NSA TS/SCI with Poly clearance
Strong background in Linux system administration
Experience with VM management and monitoring
Familiarity with YUM repositories and software updates
Knowledge of server security practices
Basic understanding of Kubernetes and container orchestration
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or 4 years of equivalent experience)
Desired:
Experience with Ansible
PKI and Server Certificate management skills
AWS expertise (EC2, RDS, etc.)
Familiarity with Grafana, Rancher, Rook-Ceph, and NiFi
VMWare experience • Hadoop/Cloud System Administration certification
Git proficiency
Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies

The proposed salary range for this position is:
