Opportunity:
Join our dynamic Infrastructure team as a Linux Systems Administrator! We're seeking a skilled professional to support our customer requirements and development team needs across multiple hosting platforms. This role offers an exciting chance to deepen your expertise in VM Management and DevOps while working with cutting-edge technologies like OpenStack, AWS, and VMWare.
Responsibilities:
Manage and monitor Linux VMs across various hosting platforms
Perform system administration tasks, including certificate management and software updates
Collaborate with customers and developers to support product needs
Execute DevOps tasks using Ansible and Kubernetes
Ensure VM compliance with enterprise security requirements
Qualifications:
Required:
An active NSA TS/SCI with Poly clearance
Strong Linux skills, particularly with RHEL 8/9
Experience administering VMs in OpenStack, VMWare, or AWS
Knowledge of Splunk • Familiarity with Ansible
Expertise in VM management and security (STE/STN and SSP Compliance)
Proficiency in common sysadmin tasks (YUM updates, VM reboots, server certificates)
Solid troubleshooting skills for VMs and applications
Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and Rancher
Active Security+ Certification
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, OR • 4+ years of relevant project experience in lieu of degree
Desired:
Advanced Ansible skills
PKI Certificate/Server Certificate setup experience
AWS services knowledge (EC2, RDS, etc.)
Familiarity with Grafana, Rancher, Rook-Ceph, and NiFi
VMWare exposure
Hadoop/Cloud Systems Administration Certification
Git version control experience

The proposed salary range for this position is:
