Job Description Insight Global is seeking a Systems Engineer for one of our clients located in Richmond VA. The Systems Engineer works in an in a multi-technology environment and will be responsible for managing our Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) and all associated components including but not limited to Azure Databricks (DBX), On Premise and Cloud-based servers and associated third-party software installations and Cloud-based services interfaces and integrations, databases components, and DevOPS pipelines while ensuring well-managed and secure platforms. Skills and Requirements 3+ years of experience performing Windows and Linux Server administration and Database systems (SQL Server and Oracle) administration including incident, application software, security and access control management for those platforms. Experience in Azure Cloud (IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS) and Azure DBX, Azure Command Line Interface (CLI), Azure Synapse, Azure Automation, and Azure Powershell along with any Azure related certifications. Experience working, administering, and upgrading servers and software in a hybrid environment (On-Premise and Cloud). Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) experience including Business Intelligence (BI) applications (i.e., QlikSense, Qlik Replicate, PowerBI, Informatica). Solid understanding of platform and application security and compliance concepts including SOX along with cost-consideration experience. Performance monitoring and automation experience through maintaining existing and developing new alerting and monitoring solutions. Experience in SQL, YAML, Terraform and Powershell scripting experience. SQL Development and Tuning experience.
