Overview As the Sr. SharePoint Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and maintaining a complex SharePoint Environment and supporting operations providing critical insights to multiple cloud environments. The duties include designing SharePoint Sites and workflows as well as developing standards for oversight and support of the repositories. You will also be planning and delivering the path forward to move these Document Management Services to the Cloud in support of the US Coast Guard (USCG). Once you develop it, you will be the SME for our cloud-based document management system administration. You will be responsible for all aspects of the systems engineering of an document management and workflow system that USCG uses to help safeguard our nation. To achieve this, you will be: Responsibilities Designing, implementing and supporting document management systems to meet the mission needs of USCG and help deliver its intelligence capabilities to the people who need it most. Working in an agile and dynamic environment to provide critical services and information in a timely manner. Qualifications U.S. Citizenship. Active Top Secret (TS) clearance, SCI Eligible. Bachelors degree or higher in a technical discipline (or equivalent) related field. Minimum of eight (8) years relevant experience. Self-starter, able to work with minimal direction. Good communication skills, able to clearly and articulately present products to higher leadership. Understanding of business processes, able to elicit requirements from stakeholders, propose and implement solutions. Experience with SharePoint and SharePoint Online (developing repositories, pages, lists, calendars, etc.). Experience with operational processes such as Help Desk, Change Management, Information Assurance, etc. Experience with developing and editing technical documentation. Experience in SharePoint, MS Office tools, and MS Project. Experience with Adobe Acrobat forms development. Knowledge of JavaScript. Knowledge of Remedy ticket managing software.
