We are looking for an ambitious, experienced, and visionary Cloud Technical Architect to strengthen our MacGregor Service management & Infrastructure team and secure the future needs of the MacGregor businesses.
In this role, you will be responsible for the architectural design, development and implementation of (emerging) solutions that align with our business objectives and ensure seamless operation across our global environment. Having a strong background in infrastructure design & technology is key in this role.
The position is based in Gdańsk, Poland.
Main tasks and responsibilities
Infrastructure design and planning:
Take part of the Design and architecture of the organisation's IM infrastructure, ensuring alignment with business objectives and scalability for future growth.
Develop comprehensive infrastructure solutions that incorporate hardware, software, network, and security components.
Technology evaluation and adoption:
Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends, evaluating their potential impact and suitability for integration into the existing technology stack.
Make informed recommendations on the adoption of new technologies to enhance operational eSiciency and business capabilities.
IM Infrastructure & Technology operations:
Participate and be part of the development of vendor governance on a tactical level by supporting your colleague & service managers to manage service providers and drive continuous service improvement.
Participate in agreement negotiations and the definition of SLAs / OLAs related to the respective services.
Participates in project definition/approval related to each service within the team’s responsibility area.
Create and maintain IM Infrastructure & Technology related Standards, Guidelines & Policies, and training material for the Service Desk.
Contribute to Mergers & Acquisitions activities during Due diligence and Business integration.
Participate in the creation and maintenance of the M&A IM Infrastructure & Technology integration handbook.

Good interpersonal and communication skills are a prerequisite. As we are a dynamic organisation we expect you to adapt and respond to change rapidly.
Skills and experience that would help you succeed in your duties:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
Having experience in a similar Architecture role for at least 5 years
Analytical skills and enjoy problem solving
Strong IM Infrastructure & Technology (ICT) & Network technology skills
Knowledge about cloud solution from AWS, Acure and Google
Knowledge of ICT services and service processes based on ITIL framework and best practices
Excellent communication skills, Fluent in English
Mature and self-motivated professional able to work in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment
Focus on customer satisfaction with strong interpersonal skills and responsiveness
