ResponsibilitiesWe are seeking a Cloud Technology Specialist to enhance financial efficiency by optimizing cloud resource configurations, recommending cost-effective services, and supporting FinOps best practices. The ideal candidate will have expertise in cloud cost management, performance optimization, and resource governance to drive efficiency across cloud environments.
Key ResponsibilitiesOptimize Cloud Spend: Configure cloud resources for cost efficiency, leveraging reserved instances, spot instances, and auto-scaling.FinOps Implementation: Support cost monitoring, budgeting, and forecasting for cloud environments.Service Recommendations: Identify and recommend the most cost-effective cloud services for workloads.Automation & Reporting: Develop automated scripts and dashboards for real-time cost visibility and optimization insights.Governance & Compliance: Ensure adherence to budget policies, cost allocation strategies, and cloud cost controls.Qualifications & SkillsExperience: 3+ years in cloud cost management, FinOps, or cloud architecture.Cloud Expertise: Hands-on experience with Oracle, Azure, or GCP cost management tools.Optimization Skills: Strong knowledge of cloud pricing models, rightsizing, and scaling strategies.Automation & Analytics: Experience with Python, Power BI, or cost optimization tools.Collaboration: Ability to work with engineering, finance, and operations teams to align cloud spend with business goals.
RequirementsEducation:
High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.Additional Preferences#ascensiontechnologies #LI-remote
