We are currently seeking a highly qualified and experienced individual to manage our service division operations in our Charlotte, NC office. Minimum Experience Requirements 10+ years in the electrical service field, including commercial/industrial maintenance or service. 2+ years in a management or leadership position directing the work of others. Job Description/Expectations The Charlotte Service Manager will report directly to the Service Division Manager in our Spindale, NC home office, and will be responsible for the management of the day-to-day operations of service operations in the Charlotte area market, including residential, commercial, and industrial service work. The position will be supported by service coordinator(s) and other administrative support staff in the home office. Specific job duties/responsibilities include the following: + Management and oversight of Charlotte area service technicians and apprentices + Communication with customers + Training, mentoring, counselling, and safety of personnel + Management of materials, equipment, and tools + Coordination with other departments and divisions + Manpower allocation and job/project coordination + Quality of work/service provided to the company’s customers + Daily, weekly, and/or monthly reporting as requested by the Service Division Manager + Periodic jobsite inspections and “hands-on leadership” + Establish performance goals and monitor performance of individual personnel and department + Overall productivity, profitability, efficiency, and success of Charlotte service operations Additional Requirements and/or Expectations + Applicants must possess a High School diploma or GED. + Applicants must pass a mandatory drug screen and background check. + Applicants must have permanent residence within a 30-mile radius of our Charlotte office. + NC electrical license preferred.
