Position Purpose

\n

The Cluster Reporting & Taxation Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial reporting and taxation functions across multiple hotels within the cluster. This role ensures compliance with all statutory requirements and provides accurate and timely financial information to support strategic decision-making.

Duties & Key Responsibilities

\n

Financial Reporting:

\n\nOversee the preparation and submission of financial reports for all hotels within the cluster, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.\nEnsure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.\nCoordinate with hotel finance teams to ensure consistency and accuracy in financial reporting.\nDevelop and implement standardized reporting processes across the cluster to enhance efficiency and accuracy.\nConduct regular reviews and reconciliations of financial statements to ensure integrity and compliance.\n\n

Taxation:

\n\nManage all aspects of taxation for the cluster, including corporate tax, VAT/GST, and other local taxes.\nEnsure compliance with all tax regulations and timely submission of tax returns.\nLiaise with external tax advisors and auditors to ensure accurate tax reporting and compliance.\nMonitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the cluster’s operations.\nProvide tax planning and advisory services to optimize the cluster’s tax position.\n\n

Internal Controls:

\n\nDevelop and maintain robust internal control systems to safeguard the cluster’s financial assets.\nEnsure compliance with internal control policies and procedures across all hotels.\nConduct regular audits and reviews to identify and mitigate risks.\nImplement corrective actions to address any identified control weaknesses.\n\n

Business Support:

\n\nProvide financial and tax-related support to Cluster General Managers and Cluster Finance Team.\nAssist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.\nAnalyze financial data to identify trends and provide insights to support decision-making.\nSupport business development initiatives by providing financial and tax analysis.\n

Requirements

\n\nExtensive experience in financial reporting and taxation, preferably within the hospitality industry.\nStrong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage relationships with owners, stakeholders, and staff.\nProficiency in English and Vietnamese; additional languages are a plus.\nAbility to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.\n\n

Qualifications

\n

A bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or equivalent qualification preferred.
