Title:Part Time Concierge
\nReports To: Community Association Manager
\nFLSA Status: Non-Exempt
\nSupervises Others: No
Work Schedule:5.5 hours of work, 3 days per week (Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday 10-4 pm with 30 minute lunch)
\nCompensation: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour DOE
\n\nPosition Purpose
\nThe Concierge is the property’s first point of contact for the Homeowners and the Community Manager. Their primary responsibilities include assisting homeowners, daily walking inspections, and reporting any problems to the Community Manager. They should also be available to answer calls and accept packages.
\n\nMajor Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities
\n\n Accept packages for residents\n Log receipt and delivery of all packages\n Contact homeowners immediately when packages are delivered\n Respond to (or forward as appropriate) and track all homeowner inquiries\n Complete building walking inspections daily and monitor building for cleanliness.\n Notify community manager of issues needing their attention\n Distribute homeowner notices as needed\n Provide a daily summary of activities and issues, including daily logs and checklist notes\n\nDaily Walking Inspection Checklist
\n\n Report any light outages\n Ensure hallways are clear of debris and obstructions\n Inspect walls and carpets for damage or stains\n Inspect Fitness Center and verify equipment is in place\n Ensure trash and recycle bins are not overflowing\n\nMinimum Qualifications
\n\n Must be eighteen years of age or older\n Must pass a Background Check\n\n\n RequirementsEducation and experience required
\n\n Good oral and written communication abilities.\n The knowledge and skills typically gained through the acquisition of a high school diploma and/or GED.\n Three years of related experience preferred.\n\nPhysical Requirements
\n\nCapable of working extended hours, to include evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary.\nAble to see well enough to read faint or partially obscured writing or printing, with corrective lenses if needed.\nMust be able to speak English in a clear and understandable voice so that various types of communications may be conducted with people of various levels of education and capabilities, to include the exchange and receipt of information over the telephone.\nPosition involves sitting, standing, stooping, kneeling, pushing, shoving, lifting, carrying, and moving objects that can weigh up to 50 lbs. This movement can occur throughout the day. Must also be able to climb several flights of stairs if necessary.\nThis position will alternate between working indoors in a controlled climate and with proper lighting, to an outdoors setting with variable climate and lighting.\nMust be able to interact with all types of individuals, be mentally alert, detail oriented, and with good reasoning skills.\nMust have finger dexterity for typing/using a keyboard.\n\nEnvironmental Requirements\nMust be able to work on more than one assignment at a time with frequent interruptions, changes, and delays. Must be able to remain focused and work effectively, efficiently, and cheerfully under such circumstances. For safety reasons, employee must remain alert to working conditions and aware of safety, health, and environmental concerns.
