Our client, a prestigious AmLaw 100 firm, is seeking a Junior to Mid-Level Associate Attorney to join its Commercial Mortgage-Backed Securities (CMBS) practice. This is a unique opportunity for an attorney to develop expertise in commercial real estate finance litigation and related transactions while working alongside a distinguished team of professionals.
Candidate Profile: JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record. Bar Admission in the relevant jurisdiction. 2-4 years of substantive experience in commercial real estate finance litigation and related transactions and/or a demonstrated desire to focus on that area of law. Bankruptcy litigation experience is preferred. Proficiency in handling a wide variety of discovery projects, such as drafting and responding to discovery requests, document productions, protective orders and managing deposition work. Experience with motion practice, including research, drafting, and managing filing processes. Exceptional research, writing, and communication skills. Key Responsibilities: Represent clients in high-stakes CMBS litigation and related commercial real estate matters. Manage and execute discovery-related tasks, including drafting discovery requests, preparing responses, and overseeing document productions. Draft and file motions, ranging from simple procedural filings to complex substantive motions. Handle deposition preparation and manage deposition-related work. Collaborate with a team of skilled attorneys to deliver outstanding client service. Why Join Us?
