Hours: 2pm - 10:30pm BASIC POSITION DUTIES: + The CMM Associate will be responsible for the execution of tasks to ensure our products meet or exceed specified quality standards. JOB DUTIES: + Operate a Coordinate Measuring Machine for precision. + Evaluate CMM/Part Inspection Data for accuracy. + Reads and interprets specification manuals, blueprints, templates and layouts for product specifications such as tooling instructions, tolerances and dimensions. + Conduct part layouts and capability studies to assure parts meet or exceed specified dimensional requirements. + Provide CMM and other measurement data for accuracy. + Ensure that precision machinery is in working condition and properly calibrated MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: + High School plus 2 years Vocational Technical Degree or equivalent experience in Quality Field preferred.  Pro-link experience preferred. + A minimum of 1-year experience in Automotive/Industrial environment in testing. SPECIAL SKILLS OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: + Working knowledge of inspection/quality principles. + Strong written/oral communication skills. + Ability to work in and promote a team environment. + Good computer skills. + Knowledge of IATF 16949 Quality System standards. + Knowledge of basic chemistry and physics in high or college. + Knowledge of basic SPC principles.
