Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated CMM Inspector to join our aerospace quality team in Brea, CA. This is a day shift position from 7am to 3:30pm, with flexibility for part-time hours during the same shift if you are currently working a second shift position. The starting pay is $32 an hour and may increase depending on experience. We are looking for candidates with Verisurf programming experience.
ResponsibilitiesPerform inspection activities on a variety of manufactured aviation parts and other precision machined components.Ensure full compliance with product requirements to provide manufacturing customers with first-time, quality, on-time delivery.Read and interpret materials such as work orders, inspection manuals, and blueprints to determine inspection and test procedures.Use technology and tools to inspect materials, products, and work in progress for conformance to specifications.Test and measure finished products and assemblies for functioning, operations, accuracy, or assembly to verify adherence to functional specifications.Mark items for acceptance or rejection, record test results and inspection data, and compare findings with specifications to ensure conformance to standards.Prepare reports and maintain inspection records in accordance with Quality standards and requirements.Essential Skills5+ years of related Quality and Inspection experience in electronics, aerospace, or a similar environment with a quality system such as ISO.Proficiency with Verisurf, MBD/DPD, Mastercam CAD/CAM, and Shoptech E2 or a similar ERP platform.Proficient with calibration and use of a variety of inspection tools and equipment.Proficiency with MITUTOYO B-231 Coordinate Measuring Machine, ROMER ARM mobile inspection, and WILSON Hardness Machine 'Rockwell'.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in aerospace manufacturing and machine parts division.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
This position is located in Brea, CA, within an aerospace manufacturing machine parts division. The work schedule is 1st shift, Monday through Friday, from 7am to 3:30pm.
