**CMM Operator/Programmer** **Job Description** Set up and programming optical CMM devices, and managing inspection files. The ideal candidate should have experience with GD&T, digital measuring devices, and CAD/CAM software. **Responsibilities** + Program and operate optical CMM devices for precise inspections. + Create, update, and manage inspection files to ensure accuracy and compliance. + Conduct thorough laser production inspections to maintain quality standards. + Perform process capability analysis to support continuous improvement. + Collaborate with the Laser Department on various tasks and provide inspection support as needed. + Work directly with operators, assisting them with their parts. + Participate in longer-term quality projects, including reorganization and process improvement. + Champion the inspection process by writing and modifying inspection programs. + Convert customer files and write corresponding inspection programs. **Essential Skills** + Experience programming CMMs. + Proficiency in GD&T. + Experience with digital gauges and comparators. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with Solidworks software is a plus. **Why Work Here?** We offer comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance eligible from the 1st of the month after 30 days of service.
