**Job Title: CMM Operator** **Job Description** Performs and documents inspections throughout the entire manufacturing operation including, but not limited to, 1st piece, in-process, final inspections, first article inspections, and PPAP. Performs internal gauge inspections and calibrations. Performs incoming inspections for goods and services purchased from suppliers. **Responsibilities** + Perform all stages of inspection: Incoming, First Piece, In-Process, Final, and F.A.I. + Produce detailed inspection reports as required. + Follow all documented procedures and policies. + Review job orders, ensuring parts are being processed and inspected to the control plan. + Verify that operators completed the required inspections and signed the appropriate documentation. **Essential Skills** + Ability to program and operate a CMM with PC-DMIS. + Ability to read and interpret customer/shop drawings, geometric tolerances, customer/industry specifications, and inspection documentation. + Ability to use a variety of mechanical inspection equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and height gauges. + Strong attention to detail to ensure that products meet required specifications. + Strong mathematical and computer skills. + Ability to interact and communicate verbally and in written form with employees across all levels as well as customers. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + CMM experience. **Why Work Here?** Family-owned business with extremely low turnover, potential for advancement, continued education and development. The plant is separated into two areas: small assembly/receiving and machining/shipping. Small assembly is all seated workstations and very quiet throughout the day with minimal foot traffic. The machine side of the shop is busier with larger machines. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Londonderry, New Hampshire. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
