**Job Title: CMM Operator**
**Job Description**
We are looking for a skilled CMM Operator to create, use, and maintain CMM programs for product inspection. The successful candidate will perform regular quality inspections on all incoming materials from vendors and outgoing products for shipping. They will read blueprints, plans, and specifications to understand the requirements of products and services, recommend improvements to the production process to ensure quality control, and document inspection outcomes by completing detailed reports and performance records. Additionally, the CMM Operator will investigate and resolve quality-related issues in a timely manner, maintain, test, and troubleshoot all instrumentation devices, and report any problems or concerns to management immediately.
**Responsibilities**
+ Create, use, and maintain CMM programs for product inspection
+ Perform regular quality inspections on all incoming materials from vendors and outgoing products for shipping
+ Read blueprints, plans, and specifications to understand the requirements of products and services
+ Recommend improvements to the production process to ensure quality control
+ Document inspection outcomes by completing detailed reports and performance records
+ Investigate and resolve quality-related issues in a timely manner
+ Maintain, test, and troubleshoot all instrumentation devices
+ Report problems or concerns to management immediately
**Essential Skills**
+ High school diploma or equivalent qualification
+ Certification in quality control is preferred
+ Good math and technical skills
+ Familiarity with CMM inspection methodology and CMM programming experience
+ Strong understanding of quality control standards and testing techniques
+ Expertise in measuring gage
+ Good communication skills
+ Self-disciplined and self-motivated
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with Calypso, blueprints, inspection, quality control, calipers, CMM programming, GD&T, metrology, and quality assurance

**Work Environment**
The position is based in a quality control room, working alongside one other person. Training will be provided. The work environment is focused on maintaining high standards of quality and precision.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Schaumburg, Illinois
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00/hr.
