Cmm Programmer
**Description** A CMM Programmer / Inspector's job is primarily to inspect parts produced by manufacturing and report as to the dimensional accuracy and visual appearances. This would include analyzing first article pieces as well as final runs from production. Duties and Responsibilities: • Create CMM programs to inspect manufactured and incoming products. (**Verisurf or Calypso experience required**) • Create Inspection Data Sheets (inspection procedure) defining the method of inspection for all product manufactured at ESP. • Perform inspections and record keeping as required. • Maintain the calibration system of ESP equipment used to verify product conformance. • Work with Engineers in performing risk analysis, determine inspection plan requirements based on manufacturing operations and support equipment validations. • Perform quality data analysis and apply problem solving techniques. • Assist with the ISO program including but not limited to writing procedures, performing internal quality audits and entry of ERP quality related data. • Operate in a team environment and assist in the training of new employees to ensure adherence to qualities established per company guidelines. • Performs any directly related appropriate duties assigned by management. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or a minimum of two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. • Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures. Report all unsafe activities to supervisor. • Dexterity and preciseness required to operate gauges and testing equipment. • Considerable mental and visual effort. • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings • Knowledge and understanding of General Dimensioning and Tolerances. • Here is what is CRITICAL: o CMM programming experience is a MUST. Can be Versiurf, Calypso, or possibly PCDMIS. o Metrology experience– measuring pats. Preferably in a machining environment o QMS knowledge – ISO9001 or AS9100 **Experience Level** Intermediate Level **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $33.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
