Job Description
This opportunity will support efforts to ensure customer requirements are met and improve the quality of products and processes throughout the organization by performing inspections. Identifying areas for improvement and implementing effective, permanent, and systemic solutions in support of the business.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop, maintain, and generate CMM programs used to inspect and verify production.Perform product inspections in accordance with drawings, routings, and customer requirements.Measure, test, and monitor product and process quality.Assist in developing and maintaining IM Keyence programs.Create Certificates of Conformance / Cert Packages.Safeguard customers from receiving poor quality products.Observe all applicable safety rules and report unsafe conditions or potential safety hazards.Receive daily direction and support from Quality Manager/Engineer.Perform all work in accordance with acceptable quality standards.Maintain an accurate record of all work performed in the appropriate company format/form.Maintain work area, tools, and equipment in a neat and clean manner.Essential Skills1-2 years of experience in CMM programming.Proficiency using various inspection tools and devices such as micrometers, optical comparators, depth gauges, and calipers.Ability to read and interpret internal and customer drawings, specifications, and geometric dimensioning and tolerance requirements.Strong communication skills and attention to detail.Additional Skills & QualificationsBasic computer skills to log inspection rejections.Ability to be cross-trained.AS9100 certification (nice to have).Why Work Here?

Work Environment
1st Shift: 7:00am - 3:30pm, Monday - Friday. The role is located in a large manufacturing building with over 10 different departments and 100 people on site. The Quality Department consists of a team of about 8 members. The work environment emphasizes maintaining a neat and clean workspace, adhering to safety rules, and working collaboratively.
