**Job Title: CMM Programmer**
**Job Description**
We are looking for an experienced Zeiss CMM Programmer to join our team. You will be responsible for using Calypso software to program Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) and ensuring accurate inspection of aviation components. Our facility is a leading provider of metal finishing services and aviation component repair and overhaul.
**Responsibilities**
+ Develop CMM programs from parts and drawings.
+ Create mechanical inspection processes and procedures.
+ Work safely under functional safety guidelines including the use and management of PPE.
+ Oversee daily CMM functions.
+ Define, establish, and implement CMM programs to meet internal and customer requirements.
+ Train shop personnel on the proper care and use of CMM and tools.
+ Perform internal audits.
+ Assist Quality Inspectors as needed.
+ Manage and ensure CMM readings are accurate.
+ Continuously seek to improve efficiencies with the CMM machine.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
**Essential Skills**
+ Proven analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement abilities.
+ CMM programming using Calypso software.
+ Advanced competencies in mechanical inspection techniques.
+ Ability to create diagrams and work instructions from inspection processes.
+ Computer proficiency in required software (MS Suite, CATIA, Solidworks, AutoCad, etc.).
+ Excellent math and mechanical skills.
+ Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
+ Ability to communicate with all levels of employees and customers.
+ Ability to coordinate a high level of activity under a variety of conditions and constraints.
+ Independent motivation and involvement.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ High School diploma or GED.
+ 3+ years of CMM programming experience.
+ Completed Calypso software training.

**Work Environment**
Work hours are from 7:30am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday. The job is in a non-climate-controlled metal fabrication shop. You must be comfortable in a manufacturing environment and be able to move about the facility. Occasional moderate lifting of parts and materials from 5lbs to 75lbs is required. You will be exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, fumes, odors, and temperature variations. The role requires a physical, steel-toed shoes, hearing protection (provided), and safety glasses (provided).
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tulsa, Oklahoma.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00
