Job Description
The Quality Technician is responsible for programming either a Faro or other arm-style CMM using Verisurf, as well as Zeiss Calypso machine in the machine shop. This role requires partnering with process engineers, quality engineers, and general metrology practices. Training on the software will be provided. The technician will program the CMM, inspect parts, utilize GD&T and blueprints, and write documentation. Monitoring Non-Conformant Material (NCM) is also a key part of this role.
ResponsibilitiesProgram CMM machines using Verisurf and Zeiss Calypso.Inspect parts and ensure they meet quality standards.Utilize Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and blueprints.Write and maintain documentation related to inspections and quality control.Monitor and manage Non-Conformant Material (NCM).Collaborate with process and quality engineers as well as general metrology practices.Essential Skills3+ years of CMM programming experience.3+ years of experience as a Quality Technician in a manufacturing setting.2+ years of experience with GD&T.Knowledge of quality control terminology and familiarity with industry standards.Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience as a Metrology Technician.Why Work Here?

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $80000.00
