Job Title: CMM ProgrammerJob Description Create and edit dimensional inspection programs for the CMM, both interactively and off-line. Develop program setup and execution documentation detailing preparation, part orientation, and operation instructions for other inspection personnel. Utilize working knowledge of blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing. Conduct CMM inspections of various parts, gauges, and tooling as required. Perform surface plate inspections and hand-held gauge setup/calibration as needed. Collaborate with Manufacturing and Engineering personnel regarding part conformance and process capability. Essential Skills + 3+ years of CMM programming experience. + Experience programming using PC DMIS software. + Proficiency in T & the person CMMs. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with the person CMMs is a plus. + Knowledge in ROMER arm laser scanning equipment is a plus. + Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a technical field highly preferred and will be required if the position becomes permanent. Work Environment This is a 1-2 year contract position with standard hours from 7 am to 3:30 pm. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $43.00/hr.
