CMM Programmer

**Description**
Performs inspections and sets quality assurance testing models for analysis of raw materials, materials in process, and finished products.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
+ Performs inspections of raw materials, materials in process, and finished parts.
+ Programs CMM’s and set standards based off customer requirements.
+ Proficient in Calypso Programming Software. Use the CMM to perform hands on measuring and inspection of parts.
+ Use of handheld precision measuring tools to further inspect machined parts for dimensional accuracy.
+ Ensures that all discrepancies or parts issues are communicated with shop leadership as soon as possible. Collaborate with engineers, machinists, and supervisors to troubleshoot quality issues.
+ Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision; typically reports to a supervisor or manager. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
+ Participate in the development of the company’s strategic planning, vision, mission and values and desired culture
+ Abide by and support all safety and quality system requirements
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience utilizing metrology tools from handheld to CMM’s. Zeiss machinery using Calypso software is preferred.
+ Blueprint reading, GD&T knowledge, demonstrates attention to detail.
+ Ability to work well with others.
+ Preferably someone from a Machining Technology program or 2+ years of hands on experience in a CMM Inspection and Programming role.
+ Experience working in an AS9100 manufacturing environment.
**Shift:**
Day, Swing, and Weekend Shift Openings. Day and Swing are Mon-Thurs 4x10's and Weekend is Fri-Sun 3x12's.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $38.00/hr.
