The CMM Programmer – Level 2 reports directly to the Quality Inspection Supervisor.Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Program CMS online or offline from CAD model or drawingCreate solid CAD model from drawingTroubleshoot and prove out new product and/or programMake recommendations for and/or create new processes and procedures to improve product quality, product velocity, efficiency, or costInterface with customers and suppliers (both internal and external)Train Inspectors and Quality Programmers in CMS operation and programmingFrequently take on a leadership role with regard to new product development and/or specific projectsMay perform the responsibilities of the CMM Programmer I and/or the Quality Inspector IV positions.
Required Skills:
Experience and abilities equivalent to that of a Quality Inspector III within the Quality functionExpert level CAD skillsDemonstrated expertise and understanding of the CMM programming language (CMM Manager, DMIS, or similar), CMM software and hardware architectureExpert level troubleshooting skillsDemonstrated advanced level computer skills including macro programming and/or software development skillsExperience in leading, directing, coaching, and guiding other employeesStrong logic and critical thinking skillsSelf-motivated and goal driven, demonstrating an ability to make daily independent decisionsComplete high level CMS programming efficiently and effectively, meeting productivity and quality standardsConcentrate and perform exacting work requiring significant attention to detailAbility to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusionsRead, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations and write reports, correspondence, and procedure manuals, and make presentationsAbility to interpret an extensive variety of technical and engineering instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variablesRisk analysis and mitigations skillsAbility to communicate clearly and persuasively with employees, internal organizations, vendors, and customers
Required Experience:
Minimum two (2) years experience in CMS programming

For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company’s Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 1X the Company’s bonus multiple, based on the Company’s performance in the applicable quarter.
