Description:

You will be the CMM Programmer for the Machining Operations Center at Lockheed Martin's Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) business area in Orlando, FL. Our team is responsible for developing and implementing quality standards, methods, and procedures for the inspection of manufactured and procured parts.

What You Will Be Doing
As the CMM Programmer, you will be responsible for developing and reviewing quality standards, methods, and procedures for the inspection of manufactured and procured parts. You will also be responsible for developing CMM processes, including designing fixtures, determining probes, and programming the machines. Your responsibilities will include:
• Developing and reviewing quality standards, methods, work instructions, and procedures for the inspection of manufactured and procured parts
• Developing CMM processes, including designing fixtures, determining probes, and programming the machines
• Participating in Material Review Boards, Failure Review Boards, and other technical investigations
• Identifying root cause of complex issues and ensuring effective corrective/preventive action to improve processes
• Developing and implementing new inspection processes and automation methods
• Utilizing lean initiatives to reduce waste and maintain continuous improvement
• Making the final decision on acceptability of product

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
Ability to interpret drawings and specifications for development of quality standards, methods, work instructions and procedures for inspection of manufactured products (machined components and assemblies)

Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T)

Experience with CMM programming, fixturing, and tooling

Demonstrated ability to use causal analysis tools to analyze and resolve technical / process issues

Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications

Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance
Desired Skills:
Experience programming Zeiss (Calypso)

Experience in GD&T

Experience with automated processes and robotic technologies

Experienced in reviewing tool designs

Lean / Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification

SAP Application experience

Experience with use of inspection gages and measuring equipment
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
