Job SummaryThe Long Island CMMI Process Quality Assurance (PQA) Lead will lead the process quality assurance process effort within the PSEG LI IT PMO. The LI CMMI PQA Lead shall have CMMI DEV Maturity Level 3 appraisal experience (lead appraiser preferred) to develop and execute quality activities. The intent of this position will be to build and lead a team to continue the process we have made toward achieving Level 3 Maturity in the CMMI practices.
Job Responsibilities Will lead the PQA function within the LI IT PMO Will be responsible for hiring team members and managing, developing, and mentoring staff Will set the strategic direction of the PQA function in the LI IT PMO Represent PQA in CMMI trainings, mock interviews, and the CMMI appraisals Will stay abreast of industry trends and standards Provide training and guidance to project teams on performing the CMMI-compliant processes developed for the IT PMO and in resolving compliance findings Report to stakeholders on results of quality assurance activities through audit reports and non-compliance metric data Job Specific QualificationsRequired
Bachelor's degree with 6 years of experience working in a structured PMO performing quality assurance initiatives; in lieu of degree, 10 years of experience working in a structured PMO performing quality assurance activities will be considered Demonstrated knowledge of Project Management Practices Ability to influence, good interpersonal and multi-tasking skills Proficient computer skills including Visio, MS Excel, Word, SharePoint and MS PowerPoint Experience with implementation and/or working knowledge of any PPM and/or Testing tools Experience with Waterfall, Agile and Hybrid IT Methodologies CMMI DEV framework experience Experience working in alignment with a structured IT PMO conducting quality assurance dutiesDesired
