CMMS Technician
Job Title: CMMS TechnicianJob Description We are looking for a CMMS Technician with significant experience in setting up, configuring, and maintaining computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) to ensure they meet client requirements. The role involves managing user roles, permissions, access controls, and designing and implementing workflows and processes to streamline maintenance operations and improve efficiency. You will be responsible for creating and managing asset records, managing work orders, and refining processes through process improvement initiatives. Responsibilities + Set up, configure, and maintain CMMS to meet client requirements, including managing user roles, permissions, and access controls. + Design and implement workflows and processes within CMMS to streamline maintenance operations and improve efficiency. + Create and manage asset records, including the addition of new assets, updating existing asset information, and tracking asset performance and lifecycle. + Manage work orders through CMMS, maintaining clear logs and accurate documentation. + Refine processes, identify issues, recommend solutions, provide expertise, develop action plans, and identify operational efficiencies/deficiencies through process improvement initiatives. + Transition client sites from EAM (enterprise asset management) to APM (asset performance management) CMMS software. + Maintain accuracy of equipment metadata and work order related data such as PM plans, routes, and schedules. + Complete projects for the full equipment lifecycle and set up new lab build-outs. + Drive material management processes in facilities via requisitions, purchase orders, 5S, and key performance indicators (KPIs). + Maintain asset and maintenance materials master data for the local site using the company's CMMS. + Manage, maintain, and optimize schedules in collaboration with facilities and operations management. + Onboard new assets and schedule maintenance plans harmonized with operating and shutdown schedules. + Own the CMMS change process for asset criticality, preventative maintenance procedure changes, and spare parts changes. + Enter spare parts in the material master, construct BOMs, and assign stocking levels in collaboration with stakeholders. Essential Skills + 5+ years of experience in a regulated pharma or biotech environment. + Experience with various CMMS including EAM, APM, and SAP. + Experience transitioning client sites from EAM to APM CMMS software. + Ability to drive material management processes in facilities. + Bachelor’s degree. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with project management (PM) plans. + Experience with setting up new lab build-outs. + Expertise in managing and maintaining accurate documentation and logs. Work Environment This is an onsite position in a cutting-edge pharmaceutical environment, working with brand new technologies that have a global reach. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $60.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
