CMS Operations Assistant
The role involves managing and updating digital content across Penguin Brand-owned websites via our CMS platform. Responsibilities include serving as the point of contact for website support requests, handling day-to-day updates across PRH-owned websites, and optimising existing digital content using best practice SEO techniques.
Key responsibilities:
Work with stakeholders across our Publishing Divisions to ensure requirements are captured and translated on website pages and hubs
Update digital content in Content Management System where required
Support Channel Leads with content updates in support of ongoing optimisation of user experience
Using SEO best practice, ensure pages are optimised and tagged to improve search visibility
Ensure image assets supplied comply with site and brand guidelines
Ensure content across websites is error free
Maintain accessibility standards in production of new pages.
What you’ll bring
Essential criteria:
Demonstrable interest in Publishing and/or digital marketing team and/or brand division
Demonstrable ability to show initiative and work proactively
Proven written ability showcased through your application
Experience/knowledge of MS Office - Excel/Word/ Outlook
Demonstrable understanding of managing multiple stakeholders at varying seniorities
Demonstrable communication skills
Attention to detail with excellent proof-reading skills
Preferred criteria:
Relevant experience of Wordpress and ideally with Gutenberg blocks
Understanding of SEO and UX
Working knowledge of HTML and CSS, with the ability to read, write, and apply these skills to web content
Proficiency with Photoshop
Understanding of web analytics platforms (preferably Adobe Analytics)

Salary

Hybrid working
While our offices across the UK are places to connect, collaborate and celebrate with colleagues, we recognise that flexibility around where you work is just as important. For this role, we expect the successful candidate to work from our London office a minimum of two days per week (Tuesdays and Thursdays), with a maximum of three days per week working from home. Please note that you would also be expected to attend any in-person meetings in our London office should they come up outside of core office days from time to time.
