Job Description

Perform field observation and testing during the placement of construction materials including soil, concrete, asphalt, and reinforcing steel. Prepare reports documenting observations and test results. Facilitate contractor relationships and communicate with contractors and engineers to discuss observations and test results. Must be able to perform rudimentary mathematical computations.

This is a field position requiring work outside on construction sites. Candidates may work alone on dam sites or with another technician. Responsibilities include testing soil and concrete in both field and laboratory settings. The role requires the ability to occasionally lift up to 50-75 pounds and navigate construction sites. Potential project site locations include Newnan, Canton, Macon, and Decatur, GA. The company offers a family-like culture with a focus on flexibility and personal approach. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $31.00/hr.
