The Certified Nursing Assistant provides non-professional direct patient care under the supervision and direction of an RN, utilizing the care plan.
The Med/Surg CNA 2 performs clinical duties and assists licensed nursing personnel in the provision of basic nursing tasks.
CNA 1
Required Qualifications:
Coursework/Training Completion of certification course for Nursing Assistants. Upon hire: Oregon Nursing Assistant Certification License Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart AssociationPreferred Qualifications:
1 year Experience in nursing home or hospital experience.
CNA 2
Required Qualifications:
Coursework/Training Completion of Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN) recognized Acute Care CNA 2 course. Or equivalent educ/experience CNA 2 coursework: Grandfathered to CNA 2 per OSBN requirements. Upon hire: Oregon Nursing Assistant Certification License Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart AssociationPreferred Qualifications:
1 year General hospital experience. 1 year Experience as a CNA 2.
