The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA 1) provides non-professional direct patient care under the supervision and direction of an RN, utilizing the care plan.
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA 2) assists a Registered Nurse (RN) in providing comprehensive nursing care by performing specified duties and functions under the direct supervision of the RN.

Associate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA 1):
Required Qualifications:
Coursework/Training: Completion of certification course for Nursing Assistants. Oregon Nursing Assistant Certification License upon hire. National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.Preferred Qualifications:
1 year of Experience in nursing home or hospital experience.
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA 2):
Required Qualifications:
Coursework/Training: Completion of Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN) recognized Acute Care CNA 2 course or equivalent education/experience. CNA 2 coursework: Grandfathered to CNA 2 per OSBN requirements. Oregon Nursing Assistant Certification License upon hire. National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.Preferred Qualifications:
1 year of experience as a CNA 2.
