We are in search of professional, compassionate, and dynamic on-call Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to join our Fellowship Square Skilled Nursing team. The candidate should be devoted to assisting licensed nursing staff and other members of the health care team in providing activities of daily living, givng emotional and social support, and performing numerous tasks for the comfort and welfare of the residents.
Responsibilities Provide direct patient care under supervision of charge nurse.Observes and reports physical and/or behavior changes in resident immediately to charge nurse.Feeds resident, maintains intake and output as requested.Performs charting in records reflecting resident activities of daily living.Follows assignment sheet made by charge nurse both as to group and extra duties.Works tactfully and cooperative with residents, families, visitors and the entire staff throughout the nursing center.Assures that all resident's rights are maintained at all times. Reports any violations or suspected deviations.Makes rounds with oncoming nursing assistant, checking resident's condition and giving verbal report.Assists in transporting resident to and from activities.Assists rehabilitation aids when needed and available. Qualifications Certified Nursing Assistant training and current certification in the State of Arizona.Minimum of 18 years of age.Ability to verbally communicate with residents, families, the public and other members of the nursing center.Ability to read/write English and document observations.Must be honest, dependable and exhibit a warm, cheerful, caring manner.Must be able to safely perform the essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.What we offer:
