CHI Health Lakeside is West Omaha's only full-service hospital offering a full range of services to people in our community. Work alongside nurses on the critical care team to care for patients who don't quite need the Intensive Care Unit, but who still require a high degree of care.


Responsibilities

Eligible for $3,000 Sign-on Bonus*

You will receive an additional $1,000.00 less applicable withholdings, generally paid out after successfully completing one (1) year of service, and again after completing two (2) years of service in this position

What You’ll Do

Contribute to the assessment of the health status of patientsAssist patients with taking their medications on time, meals, attending to personal needs, and change wound dressings as needed.Play a vital role as a liaison between our patients and their care teams. Communicate pertinent patient information to appropriate members of the treatment team with direction of the Charge NurseGrow your skills in a diverse and multicultural environment.
Qualifications

What You’ll Need

Must be at least 16 years of age as required by stateNurse Assistants must be on the Nurse Aide Registry of the State in which you work upon hireBLS (Basic Life Support) from the American Heart Association upon hire
