Position Details:

Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Location: Manhattan (Washington Heights)

Job Type: Fulltime

Shift: 730am-330pm , 330pm-1130pm, 1130pm-730am

Requirements:

-Active CNA certification from New York

-6 months of experience within a skilled nursing setting

-High School Diploma or its equivalent

Job Description:

Endorses, interprets, and enforces the objectives and procedures of Isabella and the Nursing DepartmentPlans, directs, coordinates, delegates, and evaluates the activities of all nursing personnel within assigned areaConducts daily resident rounds to observe and evaluate the physical and emotional status of each patientReviews resident care plans for appropriate goals, problems, interventions, and revises as needed, based on identified nursing needsEnsures the continuity of resident care by informing supervisors and staff of patient status and related matters through written reports and verbal communicationConducts daily conferences with unit staff to review specific patient care, and to communicate and interpret recent policy and procedure changes
