Overview Welcome to the MotherHouse! The MotherHouse Infirmary is located on a secluded 40-acre farmstead overlooking the Illinois River Valley. This location offers a supportive and nurturing environment for those Sisters who had completed their lifetime of devoted service to the Third Order of Saint Francis. This CNA position will assist with providing direct daily care for our retired Sisters of the Order. Currently there are 7 Sisters who reside at the Motherhouse campus. Our care team is able to spend lots of time with the Sisters and serve them with the greatest care and love. Starting pay for this position is $18.43/hour; base pay offered may increase based on experience. This position offers a $2.25/hour 3rd shift differential. POSITION SUMMARY: The Patient Care Technician/Certified Nursing Assistant (PCT/CNA) provides appropriate safe basic care to patients which includes taking vital signs, assisting patients with activities of daily living, specimen collection, and observation of patients for physical/emotional changes. Other duties include recording pertinent information in patient charts, communicating with other Patient Care Team members to ensure continuity of care, and may function in a role providing constant supervision to patients as needed. Duties may vary according to department expectations and needs.
