Conemaugh Nason Medical Center is seeking a full-time Certified Nursing Assistant for our Occupational Health. The CNA would be responsible for office and clinical duties required in the Occupational Health Clinic. Maintains accurate information in the STIX database for companies, patients, medical activities, coding and billing. Knowledgeable of the services required for each company and the ability to ensure completeness of those services and report the results to the appropriate company contact person. Efficiently and accurately performs drug screens, BATs, spirometry, Resp fit testing, audiograms, and any other services needed for Occupational Health clients. Be able to efficiently perform registration, data entry and billing of patient’s via STIX software. Adheres to policies and procedures of the Occupational Health department. Coordinates health services for Occupational Health Client Companies while establishing and adhering to all policies and programs to include Workers’ Compensation, FMCSA, OSHA, FMLA, ADA, First Aid Treatment, counseling, education and compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Answers all telephone inquiries in a professional manner, identifying yourself and the department at the beginning of the call.
Offers assistance and provides direction to visitors, patients and families in a concise, informative manner and demonstrates, a courteous and positive

Observes departmental/hospital dress code, is clean and well-groomed, wears identification badge and maintains a professional appearance while on-duty.

and other customers.
Maintains a good working relationship with patients, visitors, physicians, co-workers and other members of the healthcare team through responsiveness,
accuracy of information and professionalism.
Demonstrates understanding of hospital infection control procedures and utilizes appropriate hand washing and universal precautions at all times.
Performs basic nursing skills such as Temperature, Pulse, Respirations, Blood Pressure, Height, and Weight
Intake and Output with accurate recording of documentation.

Must be a graduate of a CNA Program.
Certified Breath Alcohol Technician (BAT), within three months, required.
Valid Driver’s License.
CPR certification is required.

BLS certification or successful completion within 3 months.

Previous background working in a Physician’s Office, Clinic or Hospital preferred.
Knowledge of Workers’ Compensation, FMSCA, OSHA, FMLA and ADA laws and regulations preferred
Drug Testing procedures for DOT and Non-DOT types, preferred.
Alcohol Testing procedures – Breath, Blood and Urine, preferred.
Audiometric, Spirometry, Respiratory Fit Testing preferred.
Computer skills: Occ Health Software, Microsoft word, Excel preferred.
ICD9, CPT, HCPS coding experience, preferred.
Proficient with copiers, faxing, scanning and clerical duties.
Willingness to learn required skills.
