Ensures positive patient identification Perform and report point-of-care monitor glucoses on all patient types Conscious of biohazard safety as it relates to the job; use of the pneumatic tube system, manual delivery of specimens to main lab, disposal of blood collection equipment, changing of gloves between patients Patient Rounds. Qualifications one year experience preferred as a unit administrative, Certified Nursing Assistant, or Phlebotomist.
