Job Summary
Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)/ Nurse Assistants (NAs) work in a long-term care (LTC) facility and provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse. They serve patients by assisting with activities of daily living, taking vital signs, and providing comfort and support to patients and their families.

Responsibilities
• Perform all CNA/NA skills as needed including, but not limited to first aid, sterile water treatments, suctioning, tracheostomy care, oxygen administration, colostomy care, vital signs, and more.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including turning, transferring, grooming, bathing, and dressing.
• Maintain patient records, submitting updated information as required
• Accurately assess, report, and document changes in patient's health status
• Assist with housekeeping and laundry duties
• Make rounds to monitor patient condition
• Provide physical and emotional support to patients
Requirements
• Must be a certified Nurse Assistant (CNA/NA)
• Valid state license
• Computer literacy
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work in fast-paced hospital environment
• Ability to stand, lift, walk, squat, and flex as needed
