This individual will have extensive Horizontal Boring Mill or Vertical Gantry Mill experience on CNC machines running low quantity parts. The ability to program efficiently by writing programs with G&M code and/or utilizing CAM software. He will have proper knowledge of trigonometry and a strong understanding of all machining/cutting calculations.
 
Knowledge and experience setting up very large weldments / fabrications and large castings (qualifying parts).
3+2 Axis, allows for 5 sided machining in one setup, but not a true simultaneous 5 Axis machine. Fanuc 15i-M Control
Mastercam or similar CAM software experience highly recommended
The responsibilities for the operator of this machine are as follows: Set-up and qualify part on machine.
Program machine to perform all cutting functions to part.
Machine part
Inspect part and fill out inspection report.
Tear down set-ups and remove part from machine (with assistance) Repeat.
