The company is looking for a safety-conscious candidate that is willing to learn and grow with the business. This is a role where you will work in a TEAM environment where safety always comes first.

Job Requirements:

Follow the WPS, as specified on the applicable job card, weld plates together using FCAW and GTAW

Locate material, verify grade, size, and quantity by visual inspection and physically measuring material

Troubleshoot routine process problems

Maintain work area in an organized, safe, and clean manner

Assist in other areas of the facility as needed

Posses Mechanical Aptitude

Posses basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills

Must be available to work any shift

Able to work within a teamwork environment with regular and predictable attendance

Able to pass all pre-employment requirements

Preferred Skills:

Ability to demonstrate welding skills in the 1,2 & 3 F positions and 1,2 & 3 G positions using GTAW and FCAW

Ability to safely operate a lift truck up to 40,000-pound lift capacity

Ability to safely operate hand tools such as grinder, hammer, wrench, and pry bar

Basic reading, writing, and mathematics skills

Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and standard measurements

Previous work experience in an industrial environment
