**Job Title: CNC Lathe Machinist**
**Job Description**
This candidate will be responsible for setting up their own machines and inspecting their own parts upon completion. The position involves working on CNC lathe machines to make small parts. The ideal candidate should be able to effectively communicate, be a team player, and demonstrate a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
**Responsibilities**
+ Select tooling, set up, and operate CNC lathe machines
+ Inspect own parts using inspection equipment (mics, calipers, etc.)
+ Perform an average of 1 setup per day
+ Handle a lot of repeat jobs with about 3-4 new jobs per month
+ Work collaboratively with other team members
**Essential Skills**
+ 2+ years' experience setting up CNC lathes
+ Experience with twin turret CNC lathes
+ Knowledge of Fanuc controls
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints
+ Strong work ethic and ability to get along with others
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with Daewoo/Puma and Miyano machines is a plus
+ Experience in a job shop environment
+ Ability to work with multi-axis turning centers
