**Job Title: CNC Lathe Machinist**
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience setting up and operating CNC machines using programs generated in Master Cam, as well as a strong understanding of machining techniques and blueprint reading. This role involves optimizing CNC programs for efficiency, machining basic fixtures and tooling, and performing routine maintenance on machine shop equipment.
**Responsibilities**
+ Setup and operate CNC machines using programs generated in Master Cam.
+ Edit and optimize CNC programs for efficiency.
+ Machine basic fixtures and tooling to meet machining requirements.
+ Measure and examine completed parts to ensure conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments.
+ Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on machine shop equipment.
+ Operate and rig material handling equipment such as overhead cranes, gantries, and forklifts.
+ Additional duties as assigned.
**Essential Skills**
+ High school diploma or equivalent.
+ One to three years of formal training from a vocational or technical school.
+ Five years of previous experience in a machine shop and three years of CNC machine operation.
+ Possess own basic machinist’s tools for machine setup and inspection.
+ Proficiency in blueprint reading and machining techniques.
+ Familiarity with Machine Shop Safety and OSHA requirements.
+ Ability to set up and operate CNC lathes.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience in Master Cam programming is a plus.
+ Experience with CNC Vertical and/or Horizontal Machining Centers is a plus.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $37.00
