CNC Lathe Machinist
Job Description

Responsible for following prescribed standards of CNC operations, set-ups of prototype and established processes. Responsible for meeting cycle times of those processes in the machine shop. Should have knowledge of, and be responsible for supporting lean manufacturing principles and teamwork throughout the company.

ResponsibilitiesSetup equipment to run production according to blueprints.Develop and maintain product/setup processes, programs, equipment, and tooling.Program shop floor Mazatrol and edit CNC programs to maintain product quality.Manage workload and changing priorities.Design and build fixtures and work-holding devices.Essential SkillsAbility to accurately read blueprintsSkilled with portable measuring devices used in the production processesMust be able to read and comply with work instructions, quality documents, and other pertinent written materialEffective verbal and written communication skillsQuality-conscious attitude and pride of ownership in designated responsibilitiesWork Environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00
