**Job Title: Lathe Machinist** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Lathe Machinist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC Doosan Lathes. This role involves working in a job shop environment where parts vary weekly. You will be expected to perform 1-2 setups per day and engage in various tasks beyond programming and setup. Our facility is climate controlled, ensuring a comfortable working environment year-round. **Responsibilities** + Program, set up, and operate CNC Doosan Lathes. + Perform 1-2 setups per day. + Work with Mastercam programming and Fanuc controllers. + Engage in various tasks including programming, setups, and machining. + Collaborate with a small team of machinists to achieve production goals. **Essential Skills** + Experience with lathe setup and operation. + Proficiency in using Fanuc controllers. + Knowledge of CNC machining, including CNC lathe and CNC mill operations. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints. + Experience with machine setup and inspection using micrometers and calipers. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy a flexible work schedule with 4-day, 10-hour shifts, and occasional Fridays for overtime. The facility operates on a day shift schedule from Monday to Thursday, 6am to 4:30pm, with occasional Friday shifts from 6am to noon. Employees enjoy a 15-minute coffee break in the morning and a 30-minute unpaid lunch break at noon. Additional unscheduled breaks in the afternoon are allowed. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.
