**Job Title: CNC Lathe Machinist** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Machinist with a minimum of 3 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with CNC lathe machines, including setting up, operating, and maintaining the machines. The role involves working with clutches, brakes, and power transmission parts. **Responsibilities** + Set up CNC lathe machines and start cutting parts + Check and add necessary fluids such as coolant and hydraulic fluids + Set up and use measuring tools and touch tools + Enter offsets and start cutting pieces + Consistently make bore sets and jaws on the lathe side + Operate and manage two CNC lathe machines simultaneously + Work with speed feeds, dial boards, shop gauges, and tolerances + Use G-Code machines, including Daewoos and Matsuura models **Essential Skills** + 5-10 years of CNC setup experience + Ability to read and interpret blueprints + Experience using metrology tools + Hands-on experience operating machines **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + 3+ years of experience preferred + Ability to lift up to 75 lbs + Experience with inspection, micrometers, calipers, and CNC programming **Why Work Here?** Our team offers a high tenure and low turnover environment with great benefits, including short-term and long-term disability, dental, and a 401k plan with matching contributions. Management and staff are easy to work with, and the team values individuals who take direction well and contribute positively. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of BOLTON, Connecticut. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
