**Job Title: CNC Lathe Operator**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Operator experienced with HAAS, Sing Turning, and Index C200 machines. You will be responsible for maintaining, altering, upgrading, and repairing CNC machinery in an aerospace manufacturing facility. Ensuring good housekeeping practices and using appropriate PPE and work practices to minimize risk exposure are essential. You will also perform preventative maintenance tasks and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, both electronic and mechanical.
**Responsibilities**
+ Maintain, alter, upgrade, and repair CNC machinery.
+ Perform preventative maintenance tasks, including changing oil, belts, servicing filtration systems, changing air filters, and checking for damaged components.
+ Maintain good housekeeping practices on machines and in the work area.
+ Use appropriate PPE and work practices to minimize risk exposure.
+ Observe facility maintenance and repair needs and notify supervision of any items that cannot be resolved.
+ Troubleshoot electronic and mechanical equipment malfunctions.
**Essential Skills**
+ Minimum 3 years of experience in maintenance of CNC machinery.
+ Experience with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
+ Proficiency in troubleshooting CNC Index and Swiss machines.
+ Ability to read blueprints and use hand tools, power tools, and inspection equipment.
+ Experience with electronic troubleshooting for a minimum of 3 years.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Advocate for Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) work processes.
+ Self-motivated team member requiring minimal supervision.
+ Ability to operate a fork truck and scissor lift (training provided).
+ Previous managerial or training experience is a plus.

**Work Environment**
Our facility offers a clean, climate-controlled work environment. However, the floor may be slippery due to oil, which will require some adjustment.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Permanent position based out of Windsor, Connecticut.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $74880.00 - $83000.00/yr.
